Don't know if anyone caught this but...
At 10:10am Saturday 8th December the edition size of DFace Green Lady was "papermonstered" up from 75 to 85.
No additional prints were sold at the time.

Isn't it about time that this practice of increasing edition sizes after the sale came to an abrupt end?

Why the hostility? I don't understand.
I think printhouses increasing the size of editions after the majority have been sold is an important issue. With the PaperMonster Swoon piece, I guess we put it down to teething trouble / a one-off.
But I fear that if it goes unquestioned that it could become a trend. Just adding on extra prints to sell a few more is, I feel, misleading. If more and more printhouses see that it is acceptable to do this, then I feel it will lead to a loss of credibility.
If you want to print more of an image, you should inform all those who have already bought it or release it as a second edition or as an open edition.
