I reckon the buyer is male and single (able to have ยฃ1800 sitting around and no woman to make him think about this before buying), pale complexion (since he's not out in the sun), thinnish (as not eating his dinner at the time of sale), lots of friends (since he'll be in the pub by now buying everyone drinks to celebrate)...that should narrow it somewhat. With some other forum help, I'm sure we can sniff him out....!!!

Hi Debaser. Maybe you are right. Maybe not. There might be some folk who cant afford a signed Banksy in the current market, but could have afforded this. Other than that, it is not suprising that people comment that someone got a good deal, when a sought after print sells for what seems to most to be quite a bit less than its value. As I said in my post, I thought it was a good deal for the buyer, and, if the seller was happy to sell quickly for that price, a good deal for him/her too.

It doesn't show that at all in my opinion. I'd love to have this image on my wall, whether I get an insane bargain like this one at half the market price (which I didn't) or I pay the current market value at the time (which I will have to....one day)

It's not like there are dozens of either of these prints out there being actively offered on the market.
