Yep could be that as well. Personally i like to think its POW running away in a tank, which they probably did all the way to their first class seats all the way home.

I found the PoW staff over there very keen to promote as much interest in the area as possible and to provide some impetus for the local economy. All the major news agencies have covered this event and credit for this must go to PoW in no small way. Sure they may have made some cash, but they would have made a hell of a lot more by basing it in London, NY or any other western city. Also, as a commercial organization, so they should make some profit. BUT, they have managed to raise a hell of a lot of cash for the local area. Seems like a win win situation to me, given the circumstances.
Time for me to turn in.

Pan, just to put this into context, do you know how much money has been raised through the Ghetto auctions? I've got the starting price list and the amount that should be raised is absolutely huge and will make a significent difference to the locals. Come on mate, whatever your issue with PoW, this has been a fantastic effort.

Second hand info but I do remember someone who had been to the ghetto asked and was told that the online sales were going to charity too. Can't remember who it was though so hardly a reliable source.

D Face's large Saddam canvas was for sale at last years Ghetto (2006). I've no idea if he had a falling out but he had only been releasing stuff with POW from the 2005 Berwick Street Ghetto. I always assumed that he wanted to run his own show, hence the Stolen Space Death and Glory show and then prints being made available via various people.
From the various posts I've read about artists getting in the thick of things with the locals in Bethlehem and the stories of the Hammas parade, live ammo etc being fired in Manger Square I don't really think D is taking the piss out of POW. That's only my view of course!
