thanks...I knew if I didn't get this one then I might be waiting a long time for another to come around....
I thought I would never sell a signed Banksy, ever, but when this became available to me, I actually parted wtih the Banksy....(and had some cash left over...the Keyes wasn't that expensive)....
but, it's the only original in my collection...so times are good!

I can answer your questions.
I paint on birch panel that that is cradled and is an inch deep. I seal surface with a thin clear acrylic coat, then i add about 9 layers of gesso sanding between layers. Finally, I add 3 coats of titanium white.
I use Golden acrylic paint, the colors are light fast and they seem to be the best acrylic paint on the market. After the work is finished, I seal the surface with two thin coats of acrylic semi-gloss varnish.
For my drawings I use 2ply acid free bristol board plate finish. I use Faber Castell polychromos colored pencils, they are also light fast and will not fade over time.
My recent (2007) works on paper are done primarily with Winsor and Newton gouache. The work dated from late 2006-present is signed and dated on the front and usually on the upper left hand corner on the back.

Josh earned a bachelor's degree from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a master's degree in Fine Arts from Yale University. His work has been published in New American Painters and exhibited in galleries in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York.
