If you can't afford to keep the gold flags how would you then suddenly be able to keep a similarly-valued collection of unsigned prints any better?
Also, you say you feel you undervalued the print and accordingly increased the price by 1.2k on the basis of offers you've had. If you had it advertised at one price, why would anyone offer you 1.2k more for it, and moreover why didn't you just sell it then, if you had an offer.
