As say and have said. No problems with galleries or yours till this but do think you guys should have been up front that it is a gallery buying. So again plenty of posts on this which you and your staff chose to ignore.

You want to call me out if you want me to tell you what you could have done I will ....it's not difficult and you very well know it.

It's easily solved by you guys acting properly you have been on here long enough. So it's no great surprise
Likewise this has been mentioned on a couple of threads which was ignored... You can say you did not see them but not sure she can ......so as mentioned why was there no response

to clarify, you asked where I was based. I replied Suffolk prior to you notifying me you lived in the area. 

From 9-6 I work in UCS Ipswich but I live in Essex.

fact I work 5days a week Suffolk does class as where I'm based during the week right?

moving on, you then offered to pay via paypal and collect the following weekend which I declined suggesting since you were local (to my place of work) why could you not collect. Why send such amount of money to a stranger without physically inspecting the work. I even offered to deliver if you covered my delivery cost. 

You requested for images of the work and coa which I sent unblurred!



i understand if you cannot meet my asking price but don't play the devils advocate by trying to tarnish my post with your ill minded ideas. 

Having seen your pics I am thinking that maybe I should get mine framed in white also as it looks great. I have never had mine framed yet.

I dealt with her and I do not vouch for her. I dealt with her in two occassions and was very disappointed both times.

Sorry. I completely agree with johnnyh on this. I can probably say I was the one screaming aloud that missurbanite was hang-up. She tried to buy one banksy print off me offering me exactly 1k less than the price she had on the gallery. Then, two are the possibilities: or she was trying to rip me off, or you constantly rip people off with your hyped prices. (at the time I did not know she was a gallery and she did not state it either)

Moreover, I am one of those that in the past asked for a work by one particular artist, got a reply that they were able to get one soon thanks to their "network of trusted collectors"....just to see their WTB popping up few minutes after my request...obviously all the prices were increased by exactly 500 pounds.


If this is not the "flipping business" then tell me what is that.

And I really think that defending this type of behavior can only be done out of convenience. Since I cannot care less, and I will always prefer to buy from much better galleries such as PA, Castle and Lawrence Alkin, I can state my opinion without constraints.

galleries come on here picking up pieces then selling them back to 'us', then their workers come on here doing the same, hyping or downplaying, then buying and selling, but it's all okay, none of it matters, it's all good

I was not trying to tarnish the reputation of anyone, simply asking about the location difference.

Since posting my message however I have received a private message from someone on this forum who tells me that you have offered them two entirely different locations from the ones already mentioned. Perhaps you just need to make your mind up about where you are actually located.

Good luck with the sale, I am sure there is nothing wrong with you or the print but for the record I am out. Not because I cannot afford the print as you imply but because I no longer want it.
