D*FACE PRICES GONE MAD, by uac on Feb 24, 2008 0:35:00 GMT 1, I bought a dollar for ยฃ250 and a pop tart for ยฃ500 just last week.
I think the price rise across the board it now due to greater demand across the board. A hell of alot of the mainstream art buyers are starting to buy urban art now, they never come onto boards like this. I know some medium art collectors who just buy what they like, not to sell on but yes as a long term investment. Maybe 7 or 8 of them that i know have been buying maybe ยฃ10K of work at the beginning of the year from artists such as Banksy of course, dface, faile, insect, hush, lister, eine and choe to name a few.
I think we'll see a huge change in pricing this year, the movement is changing and serious money is coming for the work.

its not bad, its going to be slow at the moment as im very busy with work, but more and more people are on board and im looking for another moderator to update and look after the site when i cant do it...
Some more artists will be added in the next couple of weeks, alot are signed up but i have not had time to set their areas up and activate them all. Adam Koukoudakis was removed as he could not do it - he is launching his own site soon.
