I think this is more than a collectable toy, it a piece of art in its self. Besides which Kaws is an artist.
I guess im waiting to see how much they are on ebay. I saw the original colourway on ebay.co.uk for ยฃ2,500 last year.

Forget six months, he hasnt really done anything innovative in the past few years. Still love his classic goods though.

I love his work and think he is on his way as well. I just havent really seen anything that feels new in quite some time. Feel like he's stalled out a bit.

I have no formal art education, but I think we are just spoiled and impatient in this scene and times. I "think" in the past artists went through long periods of exploring topics and reworking images and themes. For example Picasso's blue period comes to mind lasting 4 years. We just gotta give these guys some time. Let them find themselves and censor their own work.
