I thought it might have. The image seemingly has more layers then filo pastry.

i wouldnt be so sure that there were not unpaid for winners........... somebody's mom thought a successful registration didnt mean she won and there you go.....

Probably the best way to get one at a good price before they end up in the hands of people that actually want to keep them. It's that thing of supply verses demand, im sure you will see a rise again after they are in the hands of collectors.

Yeah, I can imagine some parents, uncles, friends who were sneakily signed up for the lotto and told something about a 'Banksy' email finding an email that said "successful donut registrant" and thought what the hell is this bloody spam, click - delete. Plus I'm sure people who signed up under a hundred names and won realized they don't have a credit card under their phony names.
I'm surprised they didn't just put the leftovers online for sale as you may have the same problem with the second round of people, and then you'll have to have a third round of winners and on and on till they're gone...
As for shipping to the US - POW ships royal mail which will transfer to USPS in the USA. I think they must be signed for, which is nice that the postman won't just leave it on your front stoop to be nicked. Well, he probably won't. It will probably not arrive for a few weeks though.
