Yeah, I'm never sure how to think of these, sold as originals but as far as I can see are hand coloured screen prints, maybe mixed media I guess? Still very very nice but not cheap at $7.5k

i like the print. much more consuer (ie. home/office) friendly than some of the faile pieces. and in the end if you cant hang it on the wall whats the point.
anyone think it would be overkill to have this print hanging with tender forever in the same room?!

I had to pay with an echeque on paypal, as my card was blocked as a suspected fraud, i did not have time to call my bank and unblock my card
i emailed faile to confirm i wanted this and that money was in the account, and they still have not cancelled the pending payment

I would assume that by showing at Gagosian, they are introducing their work to the more "elite" art world and audience. Thus, the assumption is that, assuming the Gagosian crowd takes to them, that their stature (and, as a result, prices) will skyrocket. It's all speculation, but then so is most of the business of buying art (unless you are one of those that actually buy what you like ...  )
