but it points out precise what I miss on the print... the original has a very vintage, old look to it.. The pictures I saw from the print were very shiny, metallic..
so.. I don't really see the print as a good 'copy' of the original (maybe they didnt even try)..

I completely agree. They need to be a bit more generous with the coffee splashes.

Thanks for the email and the support. The Bast pages are quite fun with a lot of individual hand working to them. The Faile background pages also vary quite a bit. The book consists of a variety of printing styles from silkscreening, to epson prints, and even some stitching and "human hair?" (I am not even sure on this one) have been integrated into the pages. Paul Insects pages are by far the most worked out and unique.
also on top of that its by faile and handmade by faile, most likely signed by them as well.

i agree with the slim black bit.i want this to look as close to a flag hanging on the wall as poss,and since i cant afford some swanky perspex set up,i'm gonna go for the slimest ,tinyest ,black frame possible.

Plus, they made it so that it's easy to take out the pages. You don't have to butcher the book to frame up the best images. I honestly cannot wait to get it in hand.

I had an issue with my purchase and used this email - they got back almost straight away.
Must say, trying to finding contact details on their site isn't the easiest thing to do. I got the email from the Paypal payment confirmation.

An update on last weeks release... we hope to get everything shipped out by the end of this week. If you haven't received a tracking number yet you should within the next day or two. Thanks all for the support.
