No not at all...absolutely no queue...not surprising as it was absolutely freezing in London and snowing / raining all day.
Turned up 10 minutes before scheduled opening and people were still running around hanging the work and getting the beers in.
Walked in at just after 6pm and there were about 10 - 15 people in the gallery.
I left about 6.30pm and it def seemed to be getting a lot busier.

The pre sales thing was a nice touch but this might have negated the need to travel down for some... I managed to pick up a couple of pieces online, and decided not to trek down; although the postage worked out to be more than the train fare, the work I wanted might have sold-out if I'd have waited.

Agree that whilst the large original pieces on canvas and metal were fantastic, the logopop prints seemed a let down.
They just looked a bit boring and didn't have the colour or character in abundance that I normally associate with sickboy's work. Some of them looked a little 'cold' by themselves on the white page.
But I applaud the low editions / price points and the willingness to try something new.
Not surprised that both of the larger canvases are showing up as sold now. The 'Adam & Eve' piece was particularly striking.
The installation was nice, but obviously would not live up to the sweet factory from his 'Stay Free' show last year. I'm hoping for the life size temple for his second 'full' show next spring.
Overall it was a good show and a nice way to end the year for Sickboy. I'm looking forward to seeing what he has in store for 2010. I wonder if he will continue to put on independent exhibitions or perhaps be represented by a gallery?

It's very sweet, and at only 12cm square it's pocket sized too. Perfect stocking filler... Thanks Mrs Speebe!
Looking forward to opening the prints but for now, here a couple of pics of my book.
Can we get other books and logopop prints posted on here as they arrive please... I want to see all the print varients and book doodles.

They got them out quick but to be charged ยฃ25 postage or a 10 inch square package sent recorded for ยฃ2.60 was a bit annoying to say the least. Shame on logopop. Merry xmas eh !

I'll post pics soon... although these were both on display at the show.
I just need to find a couple of suitable frames now, the ones i'd bought looked great but are just slighly out of proportion.
Postage was a little steep & I collected mine...
