I've a mate in LA that I was thinking of visiting and if I could pick up a couple POW priced prints while there that would really swing the decision.

Whether you believe that or not, who knows?

For his first exhibition in LA, Micallef will present new work including Peacekeeper an arresting image of an armed soldier, in a pastel uniform. Itโs an incongruous pairing of the violent and the delicate, all beautifully painted. But given the amount of AM's work that incorporates capitalist logos (Nike, McDonalds, Sony etc) It made me wonder why he made the choice not to include some small icon of what actually necessitates the need for a peacekeeper.

my mate andrew owns it, cost him uhnder a grand a few years ago. i guarantee this is not new at all
