New Conor Harrington & Faile at Laz, by Tyler Durden on Apr 16, 2007 11:22:16 GMT 1, Micallef. £700 from ebay. Too much given starting price. More fool me. Not knowing you get prints of street art 2 years ago in Banksy's heyday - PRICELESS!

New Conor Harrington & Faile at Laz, by ABC on Apr 17, 2007 2:29:56 GMT 1, The thing is, what do you regret? Making money or not getting the work you now like becuase its worth more? Ive been there too. Nearly bought a few Banksy canvases a few years back for around £600, didnt. Nearly bought Kate £1.3k, didnt. nearly bought 21st C £400, didnt, Nearly... where do you draw the line. My point being with the books is.. are you buying the book to sell at a later date or keeping for the reference material that it is, if the latter get the unsigned as its exactly the same.

New Conor Harrington & Faile at Laz, by Tyler Durden on Apr 18, 2007 10:47:31 GMT 1, I regret not knowing that I could own street art by the artist in print form. Now that I do know about it, I can buy prints for other artists but Banksy is generally a No Go Area amidst the baggers, scalpers and lurkers!

Exactly what happened to me, my first Banksy (J&J) cost £500 in Aug 06 (hence the reason for joining the forum) I'd read about Banksy in the Guardian, and seen and admired lots of his work on the web at least 2 or 3 years previous but didn't know you could buy prints and originals Kicking myself now as apart from the new releases from POW he's now out of my price range.

New Conor Harrington & Faile at Laz, by Tyler Durden on Apr 18, 2007 16:35:41 GMT 1, I spose it was just my viewpoint that the street artists solely used the streets as their canvas, and my ignorance to not even think of looking any further. And yes, before you ask I probably was the kid in your class with the note saying 'kick me' on his back.
