NEW Faile Book , by Andy'77 on Mar 23, 2007 12:53:01 GMT 1, Not sure what to do, do I go for a signed Faile book (if I'm quick) or do I just go for unsigned, then I can afford the Ben Turnbull book too? I've got the Supply and Demand book and it in no way spoils my enjoyment that it isn't signed. Maybe I've just answered my question....
I'm sure I was happier and had more money before I got into all this arty nonsense.

Aint that the truth! The girl last night was trying to flog me a signed Faile book. I did point out I'd just bought the Conor print so felt that was enough for one day. She still looked upset. Probably cos the phone was ringing.

Fair enough its not all Faile, but they look good and have a Banksy in one of them. Hand silkscreened covers etc etc. Fxxk it im gonna buy one. I ordered the blue book about three weeks ago and waiting on it arriving. 
Then you are in for a treat  Covers are great, content fantastic lots of reading as well, slightly different guality of paper-it's not on glossy paper-but still great. Not to mention the CD really good stuff but hey-everyone has different taste.
Anyway good buy. Usually you have to wait 3-4 weeks.
One more thing-you never know what's gonna be on cover

not sure about the happier but was definitely better off.
I saw the Conor Harrington print whilst i was there, cant see what all the fuss is about.
it looks nice but not 750 pounds nice IMO.

Had a long chat with the bloke there, Remi, about faile and street art in general and he was very friendly and approachable. if you want a signed book order one quickly as there are very few left.
I also saw the Conor Harrington print and kind of agree with Curley. It looked a bit flat to me and a poor imitation of his originals.

That's the trouble with litho's you can print in 6 or 8 colours or whatever and get the colours looking good and true, but unlike oil or acrylic originals or some screen prints, physically they won't have depth, no thickness of ink or paint, no getting around that.

IMO it's the best Lazardies has produced...and the fact that there's an interview throghout the book makes it more than just picture book. For ยฃ20...excellent

Its defintiely the best book from Laz so far and as you say a ยฃ20 bargain.
Didnt see the point in a signed esp as you dont know how long the wait will be.
