DOLK - "Shrink" Print, by Drymounted on Aug 26, 2009 19:48:34 GMT 1, I guess I am one of the few that appreciates these prints, as I purchased both. I am a little bummed that new images were not created, but they still come across as clever to the person first setting eyes on them.
As far as the price is concerned, I don't think there is anything wrong with an artist trying to fetch what he feels his art is worth. We've all become so spoiled with so many artists undercutting themselves to give collectors immediate value back, with some interest in the secondary market.
Let's face it....If this had Banksy's name on these prints, they'd have sold out in seconds and we would all pay 5 times this price without a second of hesitation.

As much as I dislike these prints, I have to totally agree - I think Donuts was a pretty poor push for the US market, but if people are willing to pay for it, then what's the problem???
