Invader • Space File, Red & Black , by concrete jungle on May 28, 2018 19:17:49 GMT 1, For the record I sold a red version of this about a year ago to a well known gallery and got £5k - you can assume they had a client that was willing to pay significantly more. Similar condition issues too - it's the size and paper stock - really doesn't like rolling! There's another red one on the Bay that's remained unsold for over 6 months but they are looking silly money - over £10k. Guess the invader frenzy has died down now, but I'd agree this is up there with my favorite invaders - low edition, simple, clean and LARGE- mine looked great in a simple white box frame. Good luck with the sale!

Yeah, but that’s assuming I was buying art as a speculator when, in reality, I was never going to buy those as they were cheap, gimmicky, imitations of original works. I dread to think how uninspired , and how awful, my walls would look had I bought into everything the ‘majority’ suck up every week rather than art that I myself liked, regardless of wherever the latest hype train was heading...

No, I do like your artwork and think it’s a fair price.
I just don’t agree that the embossed prints are tacky. And for the record my first ever art purchase was one of the said embossed tacky prints. I didn’t buy it because of the majority, I purchased it because I liked it, and it got me into collecting. It’s a warning invader (on sale before the “hype train”) and it still hangs in my awful uninspired hallway.
