Do they also sell the paints :-) To me having one of these mostly makes sense if 1) you are a big DFace fan and 2) you happen to have the 2 colored Tarts to show the finished result Kind of like having a guitar pick form a recording session of an LP you really like. Having a guitar pick from a band you don't care about, mehโฆ
Oh I've always been a huge DFace fan no doubt about it, not to mention a big fan of Manroe imagery... Live in Hollywood so...kind of natural. I own a Russell Young -Crying Marilyn with diamond dust, Two huge Rene Gagnon -Campbell Marilyn canvases and now this.
You just mindf*cked me with saying I need the other two color ways! haha maybe in the future? It's always been on my wanted list on EB so we'll see next time a pair pops up!

I think a mixture of both. PP from Original Run, but purchased stateside recently. I think maybe he had held on to these the whole time??

But like I said not for sale. Just trying to figure out what they'd be valued at by fellow collectors. I would assume that it would have be at least the same as the 35 edition color way with a premium because it's a B&W PP...but how much of a premium if one at all.
No one wants to throw any numbers out huh? I guess I'll never know...

No nothing online, they were just available when people came to pick up their Suck Face prints at the show early in the week. Kind of a Right Time Right Place type of deal which actually made it pretty fair. I saw a lot of new collectors and old leave really happy. One girl was ecstatic about hers, she kept saying it was the biggest art purchase of her life which was awesome. haha The scene of the crime... |

I have my portfolios stored at my parent's place so excuse the horrible photos taken by my brother lol. You can kind of see the smear mark on the left hand side. There's a faint finger print or two IIRC too. I've also included a photo of the back of the print with a pretty cool random image printed on it. Guess they wanted to save a few trees in the print shop!
