BRP - Nick Walker - The Queue Diaries, by hlarmy on Apr 16, 2008 22:12:07 GMT 1, I would say that the prints will be online midday at 12 on da dot but you don't have to listen to me.
Interesting - I don't think they'll release both prints at the same time. I'm guessing the first will drop at about 11.15 and the second about midday ... I've been preparing myself for a big fat fail, that way I avoid the disappointment tomorrow when I miss out and can try and enjoy the day's proceedings and the show this weekend...

BRP - Nick Walker - The Queue Diaries, by melmoth on Apr 16, 2008 22:19:15 GMT 1, Well im surprised iv done so god damn well with releases then, sure your not exxagerating? show me some link, or will it scare me too much? ta
I may be exaggerating a little, but not much. A couple of reasons:
1/ BRP have a very systematic way of naming their prints, and they have a wide open buy page once you know the name of the print. Someone who knows what they're doing with coding could knock something up in 10 minutes.
2/ Unlike POW they don't have any software in place to detect software 'pinging' to the site to check the page. Even if they did, the fact that BRP annouce the times of the print drops makes this more or less irrelevant.
If you have secured prints, you're a lucky boy, but the odds are increasingly stacked against us in these online print releases, unless, as ABC suggests, some process code features are implemented. Even then, there are ways around it - there are software programs which can work through Ticketmaster's random word system for example - but you need to get much more software savvy to be able to get by that.

BRP - Nick Walker - The Queue Diaries, by Deleted on Apr 16, 2008 22:22:08 GMT 1, i can't remember but, was it BRP or a different gallery that required people who buy their stuff to register it with the gallery? Miss Bugs' threat of not selling to flippers ever again seemed to have worked as there are none on the bay.

Hire a homeless person to do it for you.
It keeps getting suggested for the queuing so might aswell bring it into the home too!!!

have to say this makes a lot sense one mid to late morning, the other afternoon,...they'll be a lil off what we're used to, but not much i reckon
