Nick Walker • Ratatouille , by snakes on Oct 9, 2008 20:20:41 GMT 1, im supporting brp on this, i believe that other galleries need a chance to sell them as well. Art republic have so much good stuff and originally gave you banksy's and dface prints for great prices compared to todays prices. Pop into tom tom sometime and take a look...
Sounds like you are trying to drive the prices up so when you get yours "in hand" you can command a better price for it
Have popped into tom-tom and most of it is overpriced badly framed crap!

What like your stop & search or like me; you get bored of it and prefer the idea of the cash instead!
(If Banksy ever released the gorilla from the Cans festival the two would go together perfectly seeing as the colours match)

plus the image is one ive been waiting for a long long time since i saw the original.
nope, fraid to say like alot of people that own this now...i would not even accept £900 for it so that one at AR is still a good price

As far as I can see they will just drive the secondary market price up. And the dface only had a 40% mark up so 100% is a tad excessive for this print no?

Dont get me wrong, I have a lot to thank them for, persuading me to buy WSM for £210? in 2004? but the movement is stronger now. BRP on the one basis appearing to cancel orders as it suits their rep/image (after 'accepting' the customer, Tesco couldn't do this) but on the other supporting AR in doing what they prohibit the man on the Clapham omnibus from doing kinda sucks.

Maybe that's why Banksy chose those particular colours for the wallpaper?

Having said that - love the image but a bit underwhelmed by the background colour (or lack thereof).

Right I'm set, now could I be respected as a collector/flipper please!!! My main prefab clients would be banksy, dface, walker, faile or anyone else that could make me a quick buck at the time. looking forward to your invites. PS Would only add a third/half to your price in return for f all marketing/pr etc. Thanks and look forward to riding on your back. IAFB.com
