TMA LONDON (1/2 PP'S) @ BRP, by sand on Mar 9, 2009 13:25:15 GMT 1, Cheaper than the buy it nows on ebay...would be interesting to see a 99p auction start with no reserve and no shill bidding to see what the market value for the piece is.

TMA LONDON (1/2 PP'S) @ BRP, by hlarmy on Mar 9, 2009 14:03:26 GMT 1, I think it's quite reasonably priced actually; people are still happy to pay up to this amount for this print from the original edition, so £2,600 seems like a good price. I wouldn't pay it personally but I'm sure many would have

TMA LONDON (1/2 PP'S) @ BRP, by moleman on Mar 9, 2009 14:34:00 GMT 1, considering a few months back i think they said nick was selling ap s for 4k this is a bargain
i dont have that sort of cash (i did before i found art) but this price seems very good indeed
imo 99p start normal run will get 2k- 2.2k i say this because so many people want it demand is still huge for this print i wish i had one.

TMA LONDON (1/2 PP'S) @ BRP, by manchestermike on Mar 9, 2009 14:36:10 GMT 1, Someone obviously thought it was good value as they bought it. For me it was overpriced by about £1000. At £1500 I'd have considered it

I'm glad I didn't get it in the basket as I may have been tempted to bite the bullet. I wouldn't say it's a bargain personally, but a fair price.

TMA LONDON (1/2 PP'S) @ BRP, by manchestermike on Mar 9, 2009 14:50:55 GMT 1, Possibly mate, it's relative I suppose. I'm not a huge fan of Walker, but I like this print. However for £1500 (well less) you can get a signed Banksy print. At £1500 I may have bought, but anymore than that no way.

This is true MM, however I prefer this print to many Banksy's, it's an edition of 2 (kind of ) and it was sold at a price only a fraction above what one from the main edition would sell at.
I do think however that Walker prices are only going to go one way (IMO of course), which is the main reason I'd have probably pulled out at the last minute (despite the obvious temptation!).

TMA LONDON (1/2 PP'S) @ BRP, by Deleted on Mar 9, 2009 15:19:30 GMT 1, wtf r u on about? thats not a slight on nw - thats a slight on how stupid the prices got...i know you have not been around long robin but all sorts of stuff was selling out/for wayyy too much in nanoseconds after the mona canvas went for a bundle
I actually rate nw as fucking pioneer of graf from the Bristol scene - i may not be happy with recent sales / prices - but I respect some of his work a fuck load

TMA LONDON (1/2 PP'S) @ BRP, by moleman on Mar 9, 2009 15:38:13 GMT 1, i think the problem is people get hooked up on images with nw in particular seems to get the wrong end of the stick.
i liked coat of arms not a lot but it was fun. His giraffe again was fun but nothing great.
i think credit crunch was brilliant if he released it now people would love it he did it 3-4 months to early. But all these images are called boring and rubbish its old news man, some of his new stuff is brilliant forget that stuff look how much he is improving. ALL artist have made rubbish work but its never remembered so well not sure why.
