Can't remember who but someone semi famous said "show me a good loser and I'll show you a loser".
That's kind of how I feel about the situation. Perhaps Rio shouldn't have accidentally kicked a lady in the tunnel but emotions were high and to lose the game to a 86th min penalty is tuff to take.
I find more hilarious the obvious division in the Chelsea camp best illustrated by the comedy sketch that was Ballack and Drogba deciding who should take the freekick.

Still, at least they kissed and made up at the final whistle...unlike Adebayor and Bendter who still won't play each other into goal scoring positions.

Man United poor losers, by elvisreturns on Apr 28, 2008 12:52:49 GMT 1, no i'm not a Chelsea fan but does Ashley Cole, Drogba, Shevchenko kick down stewards when they deservedly lose a game? do they brawl with stewards and rant at the 4th official because the linesman got it right and gave a justified penalty? the first penalty to go against them all season

to be honest i agree that the above comment is careless
but i cant see any other reason why a woman would stay with a man who bones 6 other birds in the first year they are married, unless he also knocks seven bells of shit out of her.
so i heartily agree! ;D

Man United poor losers, by shavemysoul on Apr 28, 2008 17:41:53 GMT 1, envy and jealousy me thinks!!!!!! Winners hate losing, that's what makes them winners.
Don't try and promote this 'great winners can't be gracious losers' crap. There are plenty of fantastic champions that never felt the need to find any excuse under the sun, throw the toys out of the pram or otherwise behave like a cunt when they didn't win.
That 'great winners are bad losers by nature' crap just is a justification to make some idiots feel as if the sun shines out their ass and therefore they don't need to act like a human being... they are still human thank you very much and don't deserve to avoid the rules that apply to everyone else.
And whoever said above that footballers are generally deplorable in their sporting behaviour, I agree (though I don't agree with rugby being fantastic in comparison - it doesn't do it for me and the game of football is so simply beautiful but challenging)... more and more its going down the pan.
I was gutted to see my club's captain fantastico going down very lightly under two soft challenges last week (Stevie G against Blackburn). Personally, though I admire him greatly for all the fantastic things he has done on the pitch, that kind of thing is just embarrasing for me as a fan. How United fans can't be red-faced with embarrassment at how Ronaldo behaves, and even more so Chelsea fans with the disgraceful behaviour of Drogba, I'll never know.
It comes to something when Rio Ferdinand goes over to thank Eto'o after the game for not diving. That says a lot about what he expects from his own attackers in the reverse situation.
We can't really call Premier League and Champions League football a sport anymore. There's little sporting left about it.
Rant over

The kick was accidental, he apologised, went back, apologised again and made sure she was ok... that's not the issue
Then the Chelsea groundsmen were saying something to Evra, what they were saying we'll find out in time I suppose, but I can't imagine it was nice. Evra ran over to confront one and he tried to attack Evra.
And of course you're not going to be happy if you lose to a very dodgy penalty when you've had a much better claim (Ballack on Ronaldo) turned down earlier

The kick was accidental?he is a fucking footballer, his job is to aim his foot and kick something ie a football. If Rio wanted to kick a wall I'm sure he would be able to manage it instead of kicking that women, but hey!
As for evra he he was provoked then fair enough.

(even if it is a groundsman).
