Calzaghe v Kesslar, by streetgirl on Nov 5, 2007 0:48:36 GMT 1, You think so Mike? In which case, I'd get right on that he's at 5.7's with Hamilton at 1.4's.

Calzaghe v Kesslar, by carlito on Nov 5, 2007 11:40:31 GMT 1, this should be a great fight. i think calzaghe is too good for him but hes a bit of an enigma. hes probably past his best now and we might never know how good he really could have been cos he hasn't fought many top fighters. plus his hand seems to get injured in nearly every fight so hes probably only got a couple of fights left in him.
you're having a laugh aren't you Calzaghe has fought with a damaged left hand since the age of 12...he's at his peak at the moment - pound for pound the bext boxer the UK has ever produced absolute quality,,,check Joe's record he's fought plenty of high class opposition

Calzaghe v Kesslar, by carlito on Nov 5, 2007 11:43:36 GMT 1, There were plenty of ppl like you saying that about him prior to the Lacy fight. Joe will hurt Kesslar. Can't wait for this fight (nearly as much as the Hatton fight ) i think hes a great fighter and the lacy fight was great but lacy wasnt yet established. more of a very good prospect. there are lots of true and proven great fighters in his division like Toney, Hopkins and Jones that he could have fought but hasnt. as a fan im just disapointed that these fights havent happened. he still may have time to get those fights and establish himself as a true great. i hope he does but i think his reccuring hand injury is going to be the thing that ends his career. and sooner rather than later. just my opinion of course. great to chat about boxing though!
Lacy wasn't established what??? he was being heralded as the new Mike Tyson who had blown away all before him...then Joe came along and gave him a boxing masterclass and pretty much ended his top end career - all those boxers you mentioned the only one who is in the same league as Joe is Hopkins
