HATTON v MAYWEATHER, by jipsy on Nov 26, 2007 12:18:22 GMT 1, Anybody going to Vegas for it? I hope Ricky punches Mayweather's head in.
15 quid pay per view on sky and a half decent undercard.
What are the odds on Hatton?

There'll be more action in the Ghetto queue if last time is anything to go by. I'm planning to set up some chairs on the opposite side of the road and sell tickets at a fiver a time. ;D

;D ;D Actually (if they do sell A Banksy at SG) I think the best plan for getting a signed Banksy would be to fill up a Transit van with sleeping bags, umbrellas, ponchos, folding chairs, sandwiches and Stella, rock up at the queue sell the lot for as much a you can get, go home to the warm with all your ill-gotten gains and use the money to buy a print off the bay. Job done ;D

HATTON v MAYWEATHER, by manchestermike on Nov 28, 2007 10:50:50 GMT 1, Hatton is 2/1 or just over, at those odds I think he's worth a bet. I think Pretty Boy is the better boxer on his day but he has underestimated Hatton while Ricky has really worked hard for this. I think Ricky can win, BUT he's going to have to do it inside the distance, as if this goes to the scorecards I can only see one result and that's not the one any of us wants, but it goes with the territory. You fight in their back yard you have to accept the judges' verdict.
Another minus for Hatton is Cortez has been confirmed as the ref and he won't take any shit from Hatton, he'll break up anything that gets too close up, which again is not a good thing.
I see this going two ways, I don't think PBF will knock Hatton out, Hatton may knock PBF out but if it goes to the judges PBF wins...
I think I'll be having a punt on Hatton to win by KO/TKO/DQ at about 11/2 with a saver on PBF to win by Decision/Tech. Decsion at just over evens... meaning I'll come out level if it goes to PBF on points. I'll lose if Hatton wins on points or PBF knocks him out but I just can't see either of them.

HATTON v MAYWEATHER, by bristolboy on Nov 28, 2007 13:27:26 GMT 1, Im going, i fly out tuesday morning, sod santa's ghetto. I really think Hatton will take it, Oscar de la hoya outworked Mayweather for the first half of their fight though ran out of gas, i cant see Hatton doing that. Castillio with similar tactics pushed Floyd to a fortunate win in my view 1st time round. Either way it will be one hell of a week.
P.s some pick me up a Banksy at santa's ghetto, please!

HATTON v MAYWEATHER, by jipsy on Nov 28, 2007 15:46:47 GMT 1, I'm maybe being rather cynical but Mayweather does put on a good show as regards the pre fight warm up. All the trash talk and name calling helps to drum up plenty of attention. He must be a fight promoter's dream. Ricky's playing Clint Eastwood to Mayweather's Chris Tucker.

that de la hoya v mayweather ...was one of the most pathetic fights I've ever stayed up all night to watch...not sure if there was a decent shot in the whole fight..
hattons chance happens if he can stay inside and connect with some of his great bodyshots....

That was my point mayweather was getting outworked and put under pressure by a fighter with far less of an engine than Hatton, Hatton will back him up and slam some right hooks into mayweathers ribs for 12 rounds Oscar only managed 5.

Odds are coming in as the flutterers are getting their bets in - there is so much more support for Hatton and nobody like to bet on the opposition....generally!
odds getting better on Mayweather though - the way things are going hes gona be worth a punt - then your in a win win situation!

Not really, as I hadn't backed Hitman yet It's early for fluttereres to get their bets on, they normally leave it until the day... Think I may try and get mine on today...

Coral are insisting everything is going on for Hatton, they're hardly taking a penny for PBF...
Bretfred are also doing a Hatton and City double at 10/1 ... it's not a great double, but it is actually pretty good odds...

GUTTED.
