Well judging by Michaels reluctance to commit to the toon, he's probably hoping they will. It's looks like Parker is on his way, with Barton his replacement. What do you recon? As a player I rate Barton more, maybe Big Al can get the best out of him.

I know........I can't believe the board have had to think about the offer. Ashley is paying over the odds for the shares and is looking to invest around ยฃ400M into the club over 5 years. What's there to think about? As for Freddie, he claims to be a Toon Fan, and once said, โthere is no Abramovic for Newcastle however, if there were he'd gladly step aside for the clubโ. Well there is now and he needs to be good on his word and move on. I know he likes his fat Dividends each year and also his juicy salary, but he can't take the club any further. I have been a NU Thats Newcastle United not Numusic ;D) fan all my life

Now i see a way forward it seems to me that FFS is determinded to make this transition as hard as possible. Thus another season is almost ruined before it starts.
FFS needs to do the right thing for the club and clear off..
i will give him and Hall there due they dragged the club out of the old second division with the signing of Keegan and bringing Keegan back in as manager was a master stroke. However sine the heady days of coming second in the league its been going backwards. Robson was ok but lost the squad as he aged.
Dalglish, Ruud Gullit, Sounness spent millions and were not even close.

Yeh, I'm pleased Parker's on his way to Upton Park. Means we can get rid of Nigel 'nobody loves me' Reo Coker.
Was a bit concerned that we were going to put an offer in for Barton ourselves. He's a good player, but I wouldn't want him at the club as I think he's a liability.
Having said that I thought the same about Di Canio when we signed him!

Think you're probably right about this at the moment, but I don't think Parker's had the best of times lately. It was a poor move to Chelsea, and although I think he did well to move to Newcastle he was playing under Roeder. IMO Roeder struggles to get the best players playing well- he is a joke with no charisma whatsoever! 
I think under better circumstances we may see the Parker of old (who knows whether this will be at West Ham though)!!
That said, I think as long he keeps his head straight Barton will do very well for you. If there's anyone who can get him playing it's Big Sam. I think getting him as manager was brilliant for you boys. I'm a big fan of his, and it means that you could get rid of Roeder!!! (God I hate Roeder!!!!! ;D)
