Yes and I guess the season is not quite over for you... you may still win the womens F A Cup!!!
woah that was a cheap shot. we're still in the fa youth cup and our ladies are in the uefa cup final.
now, if we could just get the first team right

i know our season has ended..yet I think the progress of the youngsters this season has been a major plus the fact that they outplayed a full strength chelsea team for the majority of the league cup final...and the only reason chelsea won was because of chech & drogba...they were outplayed in every other respect.
my hatred for chelsea knows no bounds...especially when lampard celebrated like they'd just beaten the 1970 Brazil team

Oh dear seems like Chelsea is not very popular here, does no one else support them?

last night for the first time in my life i actually wanted spurs to win (then get kicked out of the competition for some miscallenious discrepancy), even more so when cashley hole led the rest of the team in celebrating " like they'd just beaten the 1970 brazil team".
we have seriously underachieved this season and i think we need a few players to stand up and be counted. we also need them to stop whinging and taking their ball home because they don't like the opposition tactics.
some cover at centre back, f*ck senderos off, some luck with injuries and stop selling the family silver; steve sidwell, james harper, matty upson, arturo lupoli, sebastian larsen, anthony stokes, jerome thomas, jermaine pennant, moritz volz, david bentley. not saying all of them would do a job for us still but why keep jeremie aliadiere? or senderos? a lot of players with potential but watch any england schoolboys game and 90% of them will fail to make it in the premiership, you need to realise that potential.
i will renew my season ticket, and i'm sure my team will buck the trend and raise prices, but there are some serious weaknesses that need sorting. and at that prices i pay it's not for me to do so.
p.s all chelsea fans, is it not a bit like going with a high-class escort? you can claim an achievement of sorts but it's just a hollow satisfaction. money can buy you a lot, but class, dignity and respect?

beautifully put
for once, and i really really can't believe i'm going to type this....I want ManU to win the Premiership by a mile
I realised the other day that I'm going to find it very difficuly to support England...seeing as the team has the likes of Cashley Cole & Frank Lampard in the team...players who seem more focused on filling their pockets than representing their country.
ps: the scenes at the end of the game the other night were despicable...the fan running on the pitch & swinging at Lampard like that...and missing!!!...awful. ;D

do you know what cracks me up? when the xenophobic hacks in this country slag us for not fielding an english player/having a load of jonny foreigners in our line-up. then the england team play and you see why. let chelsea and spurs hoover up all the "talent" in this country and we'll stick to having world cup winning players (5 in recent years) and the pick of the worlds youngsters.

I disagree, England now struggle because there is no competition for places in the side and they have become complacent and that is a direct result of teams like Arsenal, Chelsea etc fielding no or hardly any english born players. I seem to remember you winning the league with quite a few English players in your team. Tony Adams, Keown, Ray Parlor, Dave Seaman, Ian Wright....
We do need to regulate the amount of foreign players in any one side or England will struggle to beat Scotland (or should i say Israel on Sat)
I would rather see a strong England team that can beat any side in the World rather than the mess we are in now. FFS strikers brought in from a Division below cos we aint got any.

build a national academy if you want a decent england team. the best english players go there, no ties to a professional club and develop under the best coaches. once they graduate, they can then go on to pro clubs after that and continue to develop. there could even be a fee involved to help fund further development.
hold on, wasn't that supposed to happen at burton-on-trent?
if my team decide to build a state-of-the-art training facility, say at london colney, i think they should be able to pick and choose the cream of the worlds young talent. if that means poaching cesc from under barca's noses, so be it. if that means bringing denilson over from brazil, so be it. we also do our bit with english lads. ashley cole, david bentley, steve sidwell, jay bothroyd, jerome thomas, justin hoyte, james harper, rohan ricketts etc have all come through our academy adn are english. they've had the best coaching the best facilities and every oppourtunity to develop further.
it is not the responsibilty of arsene wenger to supply the national team with talent, it is the fa's. if any of the english lads that have come through are good enough great, if there is a better foreign player (again cesc or fat frank, you decide) in the same position, then play him.
for ingonorant tw*ts to say we don't give english talent a fair crack of the whip is ludicrous. competition for places only enhances a players performance so those who don't make it, it's because they're not good enough. look where our offcasts have gone, premiership teams yes but hardly a step up. every now and again, if the right english player comes availible at the righ price we will buy him - take theo walcott and jermaine pennant and richard right and sol campbell and matty upson etc.
what we won't do is pay £19 million or whatever for shaun-wright-phillips ;D

what like spurs do?
Henry takes swipe at Spurs
LONDON (AFP) - Arsenal captain Thierry Henry took a cheeky swipe at bitter rivals Tottenham by criticising their exaggerated celebrations whenever they avoid defeat in the north London derby.
Henry was baffled when Tottenham's players and fans wildly celebrated Jermaine Jenas's last minute equaliser during the team's 2-2 draw at White Hart Lane earlier this month.
The France striker insists Martin Jol's team should show more restraint because they have failed to achieve anything significant this season.
"What makes me laugh is the way Tottenham always celebrate whenever they get a draw against us," Henry told the Arsenal programme for their match against Fulham.
"I would like to remind them that once again they have not made the Champions League. So I was amazed to see their reaction at the full-time whistle.
"I had to look twice at the score on the TV because I thought they had won it the way they were celebrating."
There is little love lost between two clubs who are seperated by just a few miles and, while Henry is currently sidelined with a back injury, his controversial comments will ensure he remains firmly in the spotlight.
"When I celebrated my equaliser against them at home last season I did so because the goal had a meaning," he said.
"It turned out to be an important goal in the race for fourth place. I wasn't going to celebrate just because we drew against Tottenham.
"It was the same when we won the league there in 2004. They equalised to make it 2-2 that day and when I saw Taricco celebrate so much that he injured himself, I said to him 'you do realise we only needed a point and now we are celebrating the title on your ground."
LOL bless him ;D
I don't care who arse*** play ... i hope they lose all the time what like spurs do?
They equalised to make it 2-2 that day and when I saw Taricco celebrate so much that he injured himself, I said to him 'you do realise we only needed a point and now we are celebrating the title on your ground." LOL bless him ;D
