The Best Film Ever, by misterx on Jul 17, 2013 9:33:20 GMT 1, I lived in SAfrica during the 80's and Rodriguez certainly played a part in the Soundtrack to my youth, but had no idea he was a nobody everywhere else till I read about and then watched your movie anarquee.
It blew me away and had many a lump *sniff* in my throat.What a man. What an unbelievable(yet true) tale!
Not for nothing it won this years Doco oscar....recommended if you havent seen it.

Just utterly brilliant. So funny in places.
Christoph Waltz, who also played the german officer in Inglorious basterds was just brilliant.
Leonardo Di Caprio was pretty bllody good too, as was the actor who played Django himself.
Well worth a watch, if not already seen,.

Agree that Django Unchained is great. Mad, but great. Only Tarantino has the genius to unleash such a load of absolute bonkers (USA during the slave trade, 1960's music, modern day vernacular) mix it up and end up with an unforgettable film. As for Leo... I rarely see him in a bad movie. Ever since 'Gilbert Grape' I've been a huge fan.

Oh yeah, Marv fuckin' RULES - the "What's Going On" album is over 40 years old and the lyrics are still scarily relevant today - especially in relation to this documentary. I'm listening to the album right now
