Stand Your Ground by Little Barrie on Wall Of sound
MAX R & B in the old school meaning of the word.
Little Barrie played guitar all last summer for Primal Scream in place of Throb and was amazing, a very sharp dressed man. Think small faces. ;D ;D ;D

Anyway, it's the best radio station in the USA. It's one of the things I miss most about moving from LA to NYC (yes, NYC radio sucks if you can believe it -- at least nothin' compared to LA)...

technically wolfmother's album is from 2005 if you wanna get picky and I used to like them but the keyboard playing is so annoying live as he always rocks his synth backwards and forwards.
I got the new !!! album which seems OK as well as the new Rapture and LCD SoundSystem if your into that kind of thing. There's quite a few new singles/eps/albums out because of the recent SXSW festival, problem is finding everything in this top40 obsessed world.
Recently stumbled upon the sites bigstereo.net and fluokids.blogspot.com which often have new mp3s.

Recommend three albums, by tomhills1 on Apr 21, 2007 9:28:12 GMT 1, i know it doesn't come out 'til monday but the new arctic monkey's album (you can include the old one too if you want), the racontuers - broken boy soldiers, can't believe i missed them at reading , and the delays - you see colours, there is a criminally underrated band. saw them three times last year, including going to see embrace, well seeing them support embrace and then walking out during the second song. i know, i just thought i'd give them the benefit of the doubt and a chance to prove me wrong. they had their chance and i was right all along. they truly are the biggest load of sh*t i have ever seen, and i've seen the kaiser chiefs.
