James Bond - Quantum Of Solace, by Heavyconsumer on Nov 1, 2008 17:32:48 GMT 1, I was a huge fan of Brosnan as Bond, but felt he was let down by some terrible scriptwriting. While I don't think that Craig is traditional Bond material, the style of the movies seems to have shifted slightly and he suits/handles the role very well. In short I think that the last movie was the best for some years, in terms of its' plot and I'm very excited about this sequel.

Phew, I thought I might have been on my own in this one. Moore was the ultimate Bond.
The Bourne films were superb btw! Pumped with adrenaline, edge of your seat action movies with an unbeatable soundtrack!

Brosnan was a better Bond than Connery imo, but never had the chance to prove it with the crappy scripts he was given. Connery was too brawny and dopey compared to the sharp wit and smooth class of Moore. Bond didn't need that caustic edge. He's all about the smoothness!
