Question for Mac users, by notworthit on Apr 29, 2009 19:47:31 GMT 1, The 3.5mm Audio out on the iMac also couples as an optical digital out. If you really want the best sound quality, hook that up to a good quality amp with an optical input. I myself would hook it up through a decent home cinema amp and speakers.

Question for Mac users, by Ged on Apr 29, 2009 22:52:42 GMT 1, I use these Depending on the size of your house, simply cut the string to length, I listen in the shower to my itunes safe in the knowledge I'll not be getting electrocuted. Sometimes I go to the local shops, I can still hear the music, just amazing!
My residence is hardly a country estate will sprawling hills but there is a fair distance between my iMac and my shower. Is there a preferred brand of tin i.e. Heinz? Also, which kind of string would you recommend? Will be going to B&Q over the weekend, what do you reckon?

Empty? Wouldn't spaghetti hoops be perfect as they would act as a voice coil? Just a thought ofcourse ;D

Those Meridians may sound nice but they don't look like a spaceship - gotta be worth an extra 5K for that surely?
What are these things?
