Forum iPhone access, by ashby on Dec 17, 2008 17:06:55 GMT 1, Since getting a jesus phone, I probably access the board at least once a day. The problem is the site has lots of 'extras' that really slow it down such as ebay and whos.amung.us.
I know several members on the board have iPhones so I cannot be the only one struggling to get my board fix whilst on the move.
Silky is there a slimmed down, pda friendly version of the board? Also do you have any stats on pda access?

Im regularly here on an Ipod Touch with no problems at all

Forum iPhone access, by Daniel Silk on Dec 17, 2008 17:12:06 GMT 1, If you Click PROFILE in the top menu, then MODIFY PROFILE, you will find an option that will remove images from the forum that should help speed things up a bit for you 
Never tried it myself  would seem a bit pointless going on a Art forum with no images ;D But anyway, thats an option.

on wifi I bet, you just try it on Edge

Its cos its quite image heavy i think. Also, cos there are so many links on the pages, its very easy to navigate to a wrong page by mistake, sometimes after waiting ages for a page to load - so a bit of a nightmare in all.
The Profile option to reduce images sounds like it could be a good solution though - i'll give that a try.
