i just missed it., by BANK5Y'S-BOY on Oct 21, 2006 21:54:56 GMT 1, i went to london last weekend on a mission to steal/buy the banksy that is on a post box thing outside this crappy shop opersit the cash mashine stencle. well i went there and to my horra it had gone.  i asked the guy where it had gone and he told me he had sold it to a man the week b4 for a mear ยฃ300 when he can now prob sell that for a load more. i ws sooo gutted. dose any one know who it was who bought it?

WEIRD timing. I went up there with sam today to check if all that stuff in the area was still there. we saw it was gone and wondered if it had been stolen, or the newsgent had got wise. Sam got it right!
ยฃ300 is a steal. And he's got a lovely new metal box now!
P.S, if anyone is wondering what the hell we are talking about, there was a Gangsta Rat sprayed on one of those metal boxes outside newsagent shops (Exmouth market, london). IMHO it was a poor example though - any possible future buyer should know that. I would post photos of it, but I would hate it if someone stole my photos to 'prove' it was a real banksy and make loads of money out it it, so no photos folks. sorry.
