I love the detail and colours and hope it is banksy but i'm not sure he would just spray a gorilla on a random building without any meaning attached to it. New Banksy Streetart, by saajid22 on Jun 14, 2007 22:55:46 GMT 1, i will pass this on the way to work tomorrow. by the look of it it's on Stapleton road and not in Stapleton which is a considerable distance away and not Banksy teritory(to my knowledge). my guess is it isn't banksy's work, but i do like it. stapleton road is one of the parts of bristol where prostitues stand looking for punters. can't think of much else of interest. there are a number of banksy's pieces within walking distance. there was a guy on the forum a couple of weeks ago from letthemhang and he said to keep an eye on gloucester road as he had been informed there was a new piece done somewhere there. a bloke i work with also told me about a small banksy not to far from the glouscester road today, which he hasn't seen before. but he wasn't convinced it was real. so i have some detective work to do over the weekend. can tie it i with going to Niche frames and picking up the latest Dan Baldwin print they've framed for me. nice
