There has been a great deal of debate regarding the restoration of the Sistine chapel. The wonderfully muted colours have been left garish and all passages of time have been removed and a very important part of an art works history is now thought to have be lost by this restoration work. Lets not be sentimental over what is after all only a bit of coloured mud thrown up on a wall( the banksy not the paintball marks) leave the banksy alone. the paintball ''Damage'' only adds to its cultural history.

I'm not the least upset. Personally I would prefer Tox or 10ft than random blue splashes.

I still believe that we should at leat try and clean up these pieces of work. They are part of what makes Bristol a special place, rather than the grinding blandness of most of corporate Britain.
