Banksy Paris Hilton CD, by saffa on Sept 6, 2006 15:01:51 GMT 1, not only do the people selling the cd on ebay have to live with the guilt of ripping real Banksy fans off, but how embarrassing that the people selling the CD actually bought the CD. (I don't believe the 'my sister works at HMV/Virgin and got a copy') Even for ยฃ600 I wouldn't admit to buying the Paris Hilton CD!!!

and he's right. Digi camera's and the internet is what is fuelling the street art / graffiti world.
In fact graffiti done in order to photograph it can be contentious as you could do a great piece, well away from somewhere that is quite public (and less chance of being caught), and then stick them on the internet..... but is thatstreet art?

But for now I'll continue to be contentious...till I find my balls!
And try to be a bit more original next time! Oh, and work on my overspray, make stencil bigger, use more layers and find the perfect spot...or six! ;D

Im sure it will not be long before ebay is swamped with copies of the Banksy/DM/Paris CD  I would not bother buying one for more than a tenner The chances of it being one of the Banksy 500 are gonna be pretty small  I bet someone out their has got their hands on one and is burning off copies as we speak

(was too tired after work earlier in the week) felt a bit like charlie looking for a golden ticket! needless to say i didn't get one. when the security guard and store manager asked us what we were doing and we explained, he reckoned only one had been sold and that there were 6 others which they then sent back to the record company (don't know if i believe it...) they didn't really seem to know who banksy was. don't know what was worse- not finding one or to be seen looking at paris hilton cd's!
