someone here also posted a link to the audio file of the cd if interested. not sure where its at. nothin special but neither is Paris Hilton. Glad to see here in jail, shame they cant keep her there.

They can be authenticated, there is a serial number on the CD and the last four digits can be found on a thread on the old ebay forum. There are two sets of numbers unique to the CD that were placed in the shops.

Here's a brief description on how it looks.
1. On the plastic casing there is a modified sticker with 'paris hilton, debut album featuring why am i famous, what have i done and what i am for. it also has a code of 9362-44138-2
2. The actual booklet seems professionally scanned on glossy paper although you can tell that it has been scanned. On the bottom right hand corner of the back page of the booklet the code 9362-44138-2 appears again, matching that of the sticker in point 1 above.
3. The back cover of the CD where the barcode is on most CDs the code 9362-44138-2 appears again, matching that in points 1 and 2 above.
4. My main point of concern if the actual CD itself. The front of it has Paris X with a heart. The underneath of the CD has a green tint (the type of colour you would find on blank CD-Rs), the code along the middle ring of the cd is CD-R 80 10250904
It seems convincing enough but the CD itself isnt. Any help, advice on the matter would be great.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but its a fake.
Of course to fake the the cover of the CD package is easy, however there is a serial code that was used. (well, 2 numbers, only unique to the CD) and the number you have does not correspond at all with it.
Of course you dont have to take my word for it. There are many knowledgeable people on both forums who could verify or dispute my advice.

I have had 3 in total- all my codes have matched. All the others I have seen have done also.
That one was legit too- I mailed the seller and asked him to confirm the codes to me and they were spot on.
