As of March 12th, we now have stock of the gray copies of the limited
edition Dirty Funker “Future Remixes” 12” with the Banksy artwork printed on
the cover. We were not able to obtain copies of the white sleeves as we had
expected. If you are receiving this e-mail from us here at Groove
Distribution, then you are a customer who has placed an order with us, but
have yet to follow up regarding the latest developments.
If you missed the last e-mail, due to a limited amount of stock we were able
to obtain, we are now allowing customers to purchase a maximum of 1 gray
sleeve copy per customer. It does not matter how many copies you ordered
and/or pre-ordered initially, it is still a maximum of 1 per customer.
We will be shipping each individual order via UPS Expedited (with an adult
signature required for delivery) for $35 to the UK. UPS Expedited to the UK
is scheduled to arrive in 4 business days. If you wish to receive your
package sooner, you may choose UPS Express to the UK for an additional $5
charge for a total shipping charge of $40. UPS Express to the UK is
scheduled to arrive in 2 business days. Please contact us if you wish to
chooser the second option. Customers not from the UK with existing orders,
may contact us to get individual rates via UPS.
Credit cards have not yet been charged for any orders placed thus far. We
will be charging all orders within the coming days. We will still be
charging the original price listed on our website of $13.50 per copy, plus
our standard $2.50 handling fee (waived for V.I.P. members).

Banksy Radar Rat • Dirty Funker 12", by kj on Mar 13, 2008 14:08:29 GMT 1, i'd take the record out, yeah. they can leave indents. i dont know what kind of frame youre thinking of, but if the record's compressed, getting ringwear on the sleeve can happen quite quickly. i dont know if im just ultra paranoid, but with my collectable records, i store the vinyl outside of the sleeve because of this. better to be safe than sorry in my opinion. wouldn't you normally be more worried about the record, rather than the sleeve?
in this case, probably not, but generally speaking the sleeve and cover are both part of the package so equally important. no point having one in mint condition if the other is scratched, dented or marked... the way i store them, both stay in good condition. the record is in an inner sleeve and a plastic sleeve and the original outer sleeve is in a plastic sleeve too.
im not completely nutty, i only have a few of my favourites stored like that... bceause i cant afford to fork out for new copies if my current ones get wrecked.
