Banksy Radar Rat • Dirty Funker 12", by Deleted on Jun 23, 2014 21:23:30 GMT 1, I'm curious; having finally bought the LP I'm now considering framing it, and it got me wondering what really the difference is between something like the Radar Rat record and a limited numbered unsigned print, aside from quality of printing materials used (and thousands upon thousands of dollars).

So the question: What, in your opinion, justifies the ~thousand pound + price differential between these two things (radar rat record vs. unsigned POW print).

I mean, they're both limited in number, made by the same artist, approved by the artist. The record doesn't get COA, but it's extremely unlikely that someone is going to fake both a record sleeve and an actual vinyl record so you know it's 99% the real deal. (Hell, maybe Pest would actually verify the LP if someone tried haha). I was really surprised that these records were so cheap - as far as I'm concerned, it's like buying a Banksy unsigned edition of 500, albeit printed on a cruddy printer, for dollars and change.

I'm probably missing something big here.
