Neate's 2 Self Portrait ended up being the stars of this very very weird TIMED ONLINE AUCTION where vast majority of prints finished unsold (as being < Reserved Price)... the Red sold for ยฃ1593 all fees inc. & the White sold for ยฃ1298 all fees inc.
Same with the Neate Self portraits for me - if they don't sell or anyone has either / the pair for sale ? Many thanks indeed. Won't say what piece, but an artist I don't normally collect, had a cheeky bid and then although someone matched my bid there wasn't a higher one! On paper its a good buy and its a piece I like, but I really should be more careful!

But for some reason I wasnt able to on my phone and so missed out. I really didn't plan to bid on anything, but couldn't help myself. Did anyone else have similar problems?.

Must admit to be more than a little interested in what the top end Warhol and Lichtenstein pieces go for, I've never seen such a high estimate for a Lichtenstein piece before and Lenin is one of my fav's.
The Lichtenstein sold yesterday for ยฃ75,000 hammer. World record for the print. With premium added on makes a cool ยฃ97,500!!

Further to your successful bids at our online auction via I-Bidder yesterday, please find attached a copy of your invoice (a hard copy of which has been posted to you today).

They told me to call and I got it sorted over the phone..
Wish I would have asked about the framing of the piece before I bid.... I asked about it after and this was the response I got
"The frame is in good condition, black frame with glass and acid free materials but it has been opened up at the back and will need to be looked at by a professional framers to be redone."
wtf does that mean lol?
Hopefully the back just needs to be papered up again and that is all.. I fear I may need to do more..

Be careful if you are shipping. 1) frames cost a lot to ship so get a photo see if you want it. 2) this very important often the glass can crack during shipping and then damage your prints. So either use a top shipper or get it taken out of the frame.

So as it's flags and a quirky print this may be the route
