Continuing my series of works studying the mechanics of motion as featured on Juxtapoz:

It's entitled Arch Carrier and is 36x14" spraypaint on canvas and features an abstracted female form doing a backspring.
This piece incorporates a technique I invented a few years back that chemically changes the property of the spraypaint allowing it to be blurred at will by physically manipulating it in any way I see fit and allows for such effects as motion blur and distortion.
It's available for a very reasonable price if anyone's interested.

In answer to your question James its a very complicated process involved. It starts with a series of pencil sketches and studies (see below) based on a photo study with me adding abstract structures and forms into the portrait.
The sketches are then scanned in as a base and then some of the detail is digitally inked with a mouse along with a lot of compositing physically painted elements into the design.
Then once printed a large amount of handfinishing in spraypaint with brush and fingers is applied to the prints.
The varnishing is done with a special varnish I mix I create myself via an aerosol mixing technique based on a colour mixing method used in graffiti to create unique custom colours.

It's free and it'll be open to the public this eveneing as we finish off the pieces and there's some local hip hop DJ's playing along too.

Here's a pic of my finished piece I painted the other day at the Wellington Pub on wellington street in Leeds.
Thanks to those that came down and my piece along with Sune's and Women158's will be up for a few months if anyone wants to pop in plus there's some of our canvases and drawings all over the downstairs section that are well worth viewing.
Also it's a lovely quirky venue with great fresh food and a good selection of quality beers.
We'll be doing more live painting in the near future there with the next date being around my birthday in the back end of January.

I have two ltd edition handfinished prints available.
It features two images:
The Ocean Breathes Salty
Enthroned In The Cambric Clasp
Both are A3 in size 16.5"x11.7" in a signed ltd edition of 25 per image plus printed as giclee on the finest 315gsm fine textured archival paper.
They are extensively hand finished with spraypaint and I cant stress enough the amount of time that went into hand finishing each print making each unique and lovingly painted.
Like with my last self released print editions they cost Β£30/$50 each or if you buy both images you get a discount and it'd cost Β£50/$83 for both.
Also like with my last release one lucky buyer will win an original canvas by me and another few of the buyers will win a sketch/canvas or a print of mine.
