Replete π¬π§ TPN Crew Graffiti β’ Leeds Graffiti Artist, by Replete on Mar 23, 2010 19:53:12 GMT 1, Got a commission to paint a new bar opening next week in Leeds called Brooklyn so I was asked to paint a Brooklyn street landscape with Brooklyn bridge on the stairs down to the toilet replete with authentic subway stairway and then once down in the basement a recreation of a Brooklyn subway station with train with graf.
This is part of the result being the first carriage of the train which continues down the length of the corridor (with some old school lettering on the next section). The train is pretty accurate to the classic 80's trains and I even painted rivets on the columns to make them look like the girders you get in NY subway stations.
The bar is right under the Leeds main trainline so you even get the authentic rumble of trains every few minutes.
Quick 1 hour freestyle as I was asked to add an extra section of train in the basement corridor with simple old school lettering that was clearly legible with the name Brooklyn in the bar's colour scheme of purple and violets.
Quite pleased with the letters (mainly the shading) considering I'd been painting non stop for 12 hours at this point in the basement and sucking in mad fumes due to no ventilation or mask.
The thing I like best though is the window that took all of 5 minutes without really thinking about it and I like the door painted to be the door of the train.

The Flickering Fame Of The Sepia Frame
They continue on from my previous release in style and are the same size of A3 on lightly textured 330gsm archive paper with extensive hand finishing in spraypaint and lacquer and in an edition of 25 prints per image plus 3 AP's per image.
They cost Β£30 each or Β£50 for both images or Β£35 each for the AP's.
As per previous releases randomly chosen buyers will win extra pieces of artwork of mine including a rather expensive original canvas.
