We've got large canvases on show, opening tonight at Upper Space gallery on Newton Street Manchester.

There's pieces by me, Sune, Pryme, Rota, Era and Crie.

Also in the show are Kelzo, Eject, Lune, Krek, Mers and DPM Crew plus many more.

It's free and open to all and kicks off tonight at 9pm with free booze and music.

Private view is 6 til 9pm and the show runs til the 17th of september.

Here's the pics of our wall of the exhibition with the pieces spraypainted onto the large canvases and the wall around them:



And here's mine entitled "Lacks A Day's Cycle" painted entirely in spraypaint and I think it's my best canvas to date in this style as I tried a new technique more along the lines of using acrylic to get a brushed look but with a spraycan.

The canvas is a rather sizey 1210mm x 1520mm 48"x 60"



I strongly reccomend heading down to the exhibition as there's lots of high quality work on show by 20 talented and diverse artists with a price range to suit everyone.

Hi guys I'd thought ask your valued opinions on the matter of sculpture.

I created and sold these sculptures below a while back and since I've been meaning to create more in this style but also experiment making fully 3D sculptures mounted on wood/stone/metal etc.

So my question is, is there any interest in work such as this in the street art market at the moment?

Any thoughts on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

pm me mate, i'll put you in touch with someone local (in leeds) that cuts intricate shapes out of stone using high pressure water, friend of a friend, i'm sure they'd be able to help...

Oh and here's something of note, that sculpture was in a group show at the corn exchange in leeds in october 2005. It was sat next to this D face canvas and a few sickboys you can see in the photos below.

No one sold anything in the show and the D Face and sickboys orignals were priced at around £200 to £400.
What a difference a few years makes

What I'm aiming for is to recreate my designs like this one but as a fully 3D sculpture but not sure how practical it is as the time required to make them may be prohibitive at the minute.
