The London Police ๐ฌ๐ง TLP โข Street Artists , by scoote on Sept 12, 2007 17:49:45 GMT 1, At long last the TLP website is up and running:-
I have a sneaking suspicion that someone has undoubtedly posted this before me today, but I can't see it so balls
Here's the email I received
A Massive hello and thank you to all of you who have wrote recently regarding The London Police artwork, Firstly i apologise to those of you who have been waiting for a response for weeks now.
TLP was very busy this year so far and some of you may or may not have seen the new website www.thelondonpolice.com
I hope in the next few months there will be an online shop produced selling TLP tshirts, stickers and prints. TLP asks anyone wanting these things to have some more patience and check back the site every few weeks.
commissions on canvasses right now are going slow with lots of people on the waiting list. The best thing is you write back to me with : 1. The ammount you are looking to spend on a canvass. 2. a rough idea of what you want 3. where you are from.
TLP really appreciates everyones support and all canvasses are handmade with care. Apologies for the time it takes. If youre still interested in a painting write back and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. looking forward to hearing from you all

The London Police ๐ฌ๐ง TLP โข Street Artists , by nombei on Sept 26, 2007 20:23:20 GMT 1, thanks for the responses! i know quite a few people who don't like the London Police stuff all that much, but their work always makes me smile and feel happy in a weird way.
i can't think of any other piece of art i've bought that made me feel so excited when i got it! and the smell of a canvas is even nicer than the smell of a print!! ;D
as for cost, it varies based on black & white, color, size, etc. since the TLP guys have updated their website and are going to start a store up on it, i'm not sure if i should say an exact price, but i will say i got the canvas and the drawing for about the cost of a Sepia Morons (from POW).
anyone looking to get something from them should hit them up via their webpage: www.thelondonpolice.com
edit: oh, and neither is for sale! though this experience has made me realize that i should really only buy art that makes me feel really excited and not just cuz i don't want to miss the chance. i have a feeling my Sepia Morons may become available in exchange for a Micallef "Girl Tokyo"

The London Police ๐ฌ๐ง TLP โข Street Artists , by plasticfork on Nov 7, 2007 16:01:46 GMT 1, During a mate's stag do in Bratislava I stumbled across a club where carhartt's Big Geezer Tour was happening - ( ran though Scandinavia and Eastern Europe stopping off at 5 or 6 countries to graff up one store/club) It was amazing luck, The London Police, Bobo, Microbo, Galo, Jeremy fish, Joska, Will Barras, Wayne Horso were all there, got to see them work - all very nice people and we all hung out and generally partied.
At some point during the night whilist chatting to London Police I decided to get one of the tours posters and they all customised/signed it. I managed to remember to hide it behind the DJ booth and picked it up the next day while the party was still in full swing.
Have a look at this - the pictures unfortuately don't do it justice. There are 6 artist changes - e.g. Top right hand corner, lady below the logo, beside "scandinavia and..", etc
Basically I just wanted to share it with you and hear what you think? (you guys have introduced me to plenty of cool things)
