It won't be cheap but it'll save you a lot of hassle and potentially money if the buyer claims they didn't receive it or it gets damaged. As a buyer, I'd be more than happy covering the extra cost for peace of mind.
On a side note: I sent a large commissioned canvas to Australia a couple of years ago and when I was asked what it was I was sending and the value of it, I was told that if I had to make a claim then I would only receive the estimated costs of how much it cost me to produce it, regardless of how much it was worth/sold for.

The London Police π¬π§ TLP β’ Street Artists , by mishco on Dec 20, 2008 0:35:42 GMT 1, it's from a signed edition of 150. rought the price down as there's only a few hours to go and thought it might attract a bit more attention. i've had quite a few offers but the higest is from the austrian guy and would prefer to sell within the uk, i've sent a few counter offers back which equals the austrian guys offer so the first person to accept will take it, other than that i'll accept the austrians offer in the morning.

London Police '10 Years On The Circle Line'

The London Police started when two English geezers moved from London to Amsterdam in 1998 to rejuvenate the visually disappointing streets of the drug capital of the world. Famous for their lovable & iconic βLadsβ characters which have been seen on streets all over the world. The βTLPβ members have come and gone, but now, after 10 years the two founding members have rejoined to bring together their unique styles in a strong collaboration for this much anticipated London show, entitled β10 years On The Circle Lineβ
This show is a celebration of a decade of work by the duo and for the 1st time collaborating what has become vastly different styles. While one artistβs skill at drawing a circle βfreehandβ is staggering, no compasses, guides or masks are used. While the other, since his departure in 2004, has developed his own imagery, an architectural style of line drawing. In these playful fantasy cityscapes βthe ladsβ are constructed and move around freely, in turn helping to build further elements of the city. They wanted to create a place full of interaction between their circle drawing and line drawing.
This show will feature new works from the The London Police on linen & canvas, video installation and photography.... as well as see the release of a new limited edition hand pulled screen print.
