No new handbags are going to be appearing around this house!!! If we ever discussed a £5k barrier things might change!! p)

Yup - not ready yet. A lot of the 2am blogs were sold to people on the friday after the preview. Whether this means there will be more or less of them on the bay remains to be seen.

You have still made a massive bagger proffit for the seller, spend 2.5k get 3k back (In one week) Not bad eh!!
Still a good buy Id say in the currect climate.

The originals at his next solo show will probably start at £60,000, so the prints are going to be the only way for most people to afford his stuff. Just dont sell them
Its also interesting to note how few of the 675 prints for sale made it onto ebay so far. I think if it was a free for all a few would have spent 10k on all 9 and sold 4 to get essentially 5 prints for free, i know a few who bought 3 and were planning to sell 1 to cover the cost of the other 2. its a good way to get stuff you cannot really afford to buy, but the trick is to use the money from the print to pay your credit card bill and not buy more art!!

I do agree that the prices for Neate's prints are more or less a bargain right now. Even marked up to where they are, they're still relatively affordable.

It got to the point when I had to sell a couple of things last month. IMO Keep the things you buy otherwise lyou will regret it later down the line.

Having said that I have sold quite a few bits over the last couple of months and will continue to do so as it is the only way to fund this habit  Whilst I have made a bit of profit on some pieces it has all been ploughed straight back in to art.
