Another Invader gone for good, by leehambly on Nov 21, 2007 0:58:48 GMT 1, but he's put the bits on gaffer tape... that makes it better don't it? I presume matching the 4 colours wouldnt take a lot... so possibly just a chancer down at the kitchen tile shop?
There was an Invader piece outside my office just off Dam Square where I just used to have a ciggie break, was so desperately tempted to chip it off... before I realised what it was and you could buy em.

Yes this has been removed from the building it was stuck to. It was the maintenance staff who took the picture and emailed it to me, unfortunatley I dont have a digital camera so therefore its unlikely I can get another photo, maybe a small possibility! I can inform you that the tiles are all separated and stuck to some duck tape in its original form.

Provenance is not available :-) Let me explain- Did Space Invader have permision to place that on the wall of a building?- the answer is ofcourse 'No' regardless of whether some people consider wallart. Affectivley he is causing minor criminal damage and I carefully removed 'the damage'. Essentially this mosiac has been left by the artist and therefore it makes no difference if it is removed or not because by law it should never of been there in the first place. It is not owned by the public and I doubt Space Invader wants it back so its mine.
At this stage the picture is the only way of showing what it looked like.
Yes its kosher just at bit unethical. If there is anything else I can help you with dont hesitate to drop me an email?
