There usually is a limited amount of signed and numbered unfolded maps of each issue. The ones in the shop are neither signed or numbered though, just maps.

Exactly my thoughts ;-) As it's not stuck to the wall but just leaning on it I can put one way up or the other every other day depending on mood ;-)

Do people think that opening the packaging will significantly reduce its value. Has anyone made a replica to hang so that the original can remain sealed? Pics would be good to see. Thanks

It's a custom-designed, 1.5mm plate machined out of 6061 aluminum with a sawtooth cutout to hang on nails flush against the wall with nothing exposed. I had 3 made total, I'll post pictures when I get them in from the machine shop and will be selling the remaining 2.

here is what I did with mine - opened it, and fitted it in a cheap frame I found @ the local depot.. must say Im super happy with the placement and how it looks:

I thought about something like a countersink but making changes the z-axis would have increased the cost to produce them by quite a fair amount. Instead my solution is to use a nail with a large but thin head that slides up between the backing and the plate itself, it still sits 100% flush all the way around.
