Don't get me wrong, I love invader and what he does. And I probably wouldn't have minded had a not already seen another set that were perfect, no dents and no black bits. And when you probably making โฌ40+ a set profit. And selling say 1000 of them. That's โฌ40,000! The least you could expect is to get rid of the really bad ones.
If you brought a print for โฌ50 and it came with a crease down it and the artist said- "they're a bit of fun for โฌ50" would that be ok then?

Space Invader shop is open!, by kultur on Dec 14, 2013 17:00:27 GMT 1, are people really hung up on the clarity of their balls?? i wasn't expecting diamond grade clarity and colour. mine were well packed, delivered quickly and bounce. Clarity wasn't an issue with my balls. It was the fact that one had random big black bits floating in it. And a few of them had dents in them where the balls weren't formed properly. Very poor quality, I know they are only bouncy balls when all said and done. But how hard is it to check them before packaging and throwing the really bad ones away. Come on they are made in China and probably only cost 10p to make.
I did just see 3 balls on ebay and they looked real bad and even in the listing it said that they all looked similar from the vending machines - could be true I do not know.
The fact that on his website they all look like glass marbles, and in a really nice looking (possibly sturdy ) plastic display casing, I would expect that they look like that when they arrive. I didnt get mine so I am just going off what people have said on here. Bit of fun for 50 Euros? Not sure how many on here can afford that luxury.
The shoes... I would have worn them if they fit even though not great quality... but now everything seems so misleading and with massive price gouging that it has definitely turned me off from the artist and his wears.
I remember seeing in here someone who bought his latest IK for ridiculous money at source and the tiles were chipped and wasnt sure to return it or not. REALLY?
I feel that neither Orbi or Invader cares at all and people will buy no matter what. They charge Neiman Marcus prices and think they can have bargain bin customer service.

Same thing here Dave... wrote about it in this thread. Orbi will tell you it was a manufacturers error and they really are size 10... they arent. Orbi will also tell you that you can return them (at your cost) and they will refund your 89 Euro. So basically it will cost you 60 Euro for something you didnt order and you get nothing!
Such a great experience isnt it?

It's a matter of taste, I think they look funky, and so does my lady! I agree they aren't of the most stringent manufacturing standards, but I really enjoy wearing them. As for the sizes, they feel right to me, at first they were tight it's true, but they broke in after only a couple of days.

But when I checked my nike box. It says euro 44 and US size 10. I think his conversion chart is f'd up. What size is euro 43? Does it change?

It is not as standard as it seems. I could just as easily say that 43 is incorrect and 9 1/2 is. The space shop sold 9 1/2 and 10 1/2 they just ran out and decided to ship you something you didnt order.

Thats cool Invaded 420 when it happens to you, maybe you will feel differently. I have bought many things on here from members and galleries and have never had such an experience as this. This is a forum and apparently I am not the only one who has or is having a bad experience with bad form.

100% of everywhere else I have shopped its 43 is US 10, UK 9.

All in good shape, preceded by quick, pro email from Orbi. VERY fast ship to Japan (postage a bit pricey).

I'd seen them available a couple of times in the last week, but every time I had tried to checkout, the site had my shopping cart empty then they weren't available - not so today :-)
