Best Chocolate In The World?, by kronoopus on Jan 22, 2009 2:14:34 GMT 1, Hey, I know this is way off topic. I am looking for a gift of chocolate. I have tried many, but I want some suggestions since this forum is international. I am in NY, so there is plenty to begin with, but I want something a little off the path. Any suggestions? Don't really care where in the world it comes from. BTW, Hershey's, Cadbury (like a lot), Godiva need not apply!
Discus please!

No longer available in the UK, but they are in the States. I have not met anyone who does not like these (yet)......go for the 'Dreamers'
However, I don't think they are the best in the world....... That topic is far too complex!

Yeah, I dig Aero! I know that this is a complex subject. I guess it would be the same problem as with wine. But please keep the suggestions coming! If you have a link that would be great!

What no mars bar in batter? ;D
If we are talking the best in the world, then VENEZUELAN BLACK made by Willie Harcourt-Cooze is leagues above anything else i have ever tried. Though taste is subjective.....

This stuff shows you just how much more there is to chocolate than the usual crapola we all eat

the chocolatier in the Wynn Lionel Clement produces unquestionably the most profound chocolate the world has ever seen. He is the current US National Chocolate Master
