I have full email trace from original buyer to 2nd owner and them from them to me, Also emails from Dora at POW to myself regarding previous owners etc.

I got Graham Bignell to remove it from the dry mount and he did a fantastic job such that there are a few minor abrasions on the back where it was removed but from the front it is in mint condition. I guess it would depend on the dry mount type whether this could be done.
Strangely I'm shortly going to sell my Happy Choppers. Mine was dry mounted when I bought it. Either way. Very great piece and best of luck with the sale. Could be a great opportunity for someone to own a genuine Banksy image at a reasonable price point for a change.

Correct me if I am wrong here but the addition of a linen backing is different than dry mounting. I believe there are more archival and reversible options with this process. Application to a linen backing for posters if I remember correctly uses a wheat paste and if done right should be completely reversible. Either way. Very great piece and best of luck with the sale. Heat activated dry mounting is the worst.
And It doesnt help that his paper stock wasnt ever very good.

Linenbacking is done to flatten posters so there is usually no need to mount an already flat image like a screenprint.
It is also done with Wheat paste glue and is fully reversible where as dry mounting or most other mounting framers do is not reversible without using a restorer.
A poster/print can get damaged if removed from the backing if originally dry mounted which is why a lot of people keep well clear of buying prints mounted in this way.
Pokodogo, Id talk to Graham Bignall and get it removed and I think you would get a better price.
You would easily get the amount invested in the removal back with the sale once removed from the backing.
I can imagine with it being mounted your just going to get lowball offers.

I agree with iamzero as regards why drymounting devalues prints, unless it is not done in the proper way. However, I am sure that most of the people won't be happy to have a Banksy print drymounted and, hence, its value is automatically lower than one that it is not. Said that, I am not sure about it value but would surely pay £5,000 for it.

I'm happy to be transparent as I think it helps the forum as a whole. As you would guess I've been inundated with offers.
The ones I have had have all been above 5k (except a low ball 2.5k) upto but not over 9.5k.
But as always an offers an offer and not a deal.
I'm going to see what else happens over the coming day or so then contact a few of the offers one by one. It's not necessarily the best price I'm after (but obviously close too) , I just want a simple straight forward hassle free deal.
